Biography
Dr. Bernard L Williams is the Solutions Delivery Manager for the Justice & Public Safety practice with Microsoft. Here, Bernard supports the delivery of intelligence and investigation management sysetms to criminal justice organizations. Prior to this, Dr. Williams was the Director of Professional Services with Toptech Sysetms (an IDEX business unit), Directed
the Professional Services for NCR's Travel Self-Service business in North
America, and was a Manager of Program Management with Motorola’s Public Safety
Software Applications business unit.
Dr. Williams’s research interests include IT Project
failure, IT Project Management, Knowledge Management, the influence of
organizational culture on process adoption, and Lean Services.
He holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems,
a Master of Science in Communications Technology Management, and a Ph.D in
Organizational Management with a concentration in Information Technology
Management. He also is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
through the Project Management Institute.
Dr. Williams is available for speaking/training/coaching
in the areas of organizational change management, leadership, organizational performance improvement, IT project processes, implementing a Project Management Office,
and software development management.
